A quick follow-up on Delta’s latest iOS update.

Mobile App Booking

It briefs well on paper, but I did find a bug. If you have, for example, Atlanta (ATL) to Nashville (BNA) and you want to see the reverse (BNA > ATL), you cannot simply change ATL to BNA and BNA to ATL because you will get this error:

Makes sense, but…

So this error makes complete sense, but unless Delta IT or app engineers decide to include a reverse button/bi-directional arrow, they should know that most people are not trying to book from and to the same destination. Heck, its a free country and Delta is all about fleecing America making money, why not let someone spend their money they way they want to.

How To Fix This

In the interim, or maybe permanent, you need to add another destination not related to you trip and then plug in the required locations. In the example below, since I cannot find out ATL > BNA, I simply add DFW to one of the destinations and then I am free to add the correct destinations. It is one more step, but the only way I see around it.

Simply add another location.

Simply add another location.
